Benefits
Each team member is our Partner in Excellence. Therefore, we have designed a comprehensive benefit package for full-time team members, including paid training, paid time off, medical/dental insurance, life insurance, short-term disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) retirement plan, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), direct deposit and much more! Part-time team members may be eligible for prorated benefits based on the number of hours worked per week.
While Spectrum Community Services of Indiana provides a number of outstanding benefits, we believe that working with the children and young adults, seeing them grow, and being a part of that process is the best benefit of all!
Health Care Benefits
Spectrum Community Services of Indiana offers these benefits to full-time team members, their spouses, and dependents. Certain benefits may also be offered to part-time team members based on eligibility.
- Medical and prescription insurance is available from United HealthCare
- Dental insurance is available from Delta Dental
- Vision insurance is available from Vision Insurance Plan of America
Spectrum Community Services of Indiana also provides employer paid short-term disability and life insurance.
Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
An Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is an employee benefit plan to which the employer contributes shares of its own stock. These shares are then allocated to individual employee accounts. The result is that our employees own part of the shares of stock in our company. Employees make no monetary contributions to the ESOP. Contributions to this plan are funded entirely be the employer. After meeting the eligibility requirements, an employee is automatically enrolled!
401(k)
Spectrum Community Services of Indiana's 401(k) plan provides a long-term way to save for your retirement. Social Security, which provides a source of income for retirement, is not designed to meet all of a person’s retirement needs. Personal savings play a vital role in determining the quality of a person’s retirement life.
Personal Time Off (PTO)
Spectrum Community Services of Indiana believes that employees should be able to enjoy paid time off from work to help balance their lives. Under our PTO program, paid time off is accrued on each hour of worked time (excluding overtime) and each hour of PTO used. Eligible employees' accrued time is available for use after 60 days of employment!
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible Spending Accounts include a Medical Reimbursement Account and a Dependent Care Account, which allow employees to contribute money on a pre-tax basis towards the cost of certain unreimbursed medical expenses or dependent care expenses.
Employee Assistance Program
This program allows employees and their family members easy access to assistance for personal/legal/financial difficulties or medical advice any time of the day or night.
